CEM Film Premiers at Festival in Bahia
The documentary film Em Trânsito produced by CEM and directed by Henri Gervaiseau, coordinator of the Audiovisual area, was the big winner at the 32nd International Jornada of Bahia, on the 15th of last month. The film won three awards:
The Jangada trophy was accompanied by the following text:
“The complexity of road traffic in the city of Sao Paulo is masterfully captured on camera as it accompanies the rhythm of automobiles, trains and motorcycles and at the same time, it is quieted to listed to some of the millions of stories interwoven in this come-and-go to work, home, downtown and to the suburbs”
The film is also nominated for awards at the 10th Show of Ethnographic Films (RJ) and in the 29th International Festival of Cinema in Sao Paulo, among others.
